Chris Slavicek

Executive Director


Chris is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of Springpoint Living at Manalapan. With over 15 years of experience in the senior living industry, he has impacted all areas of senior living communities, holding executive leadership positions including executive director, vice president of sales and marketing, and regional director of lifestyles and business development. He served as senior administrator for a new East Brunswick area assisted living and memory care community where he led the move of over 60 residents during the pandemic.

Chris is also a civil servant, currently serving as mayor of Helmetta, NJ. He has an unwavering passion for community service and volunteerism. With a degree in Special Education, Chris continues his dedication for people in the senior living arena as a Certified Assisted Living Administrator and Certified Dementia Practitioner. He is an avid volunteer with Alzheimer’s New Jersey and has been awarded several notable leadership recognitions throughout his tenure.

Melissa Hallerman

Concierge


Melissa is responsible for greeting and meeting all visitors upon their arrival at the community, including residents and their guests. Adept at anticipating others’ needs, she handles all daily requests and assists with various tasks to help residents in their day-to-day lives. She has a keen sense of resolve and addresses even the most complex issues promptly and enthusiastically.

Melissa is actively involved in her community and has a strong sense of volunteerism. Her philanthropic and community outreach experience continually benefits others. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State University, graduating magna cum laude, and she’s a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society.

Director of Sales


Allison Nappi joins the Springpoint Living at Manalapan team with over five years of senior living sales experience. In her role, she is responsible for selling Springpoint Living at Manalapan’s assisted living and memory care residences, facilitating move-ins for residents, and representing the community during the sales process.

She is passionate about helping and guiding prospective residents and their families as they navigate the benefits of Springpoint Living at Manalapan. Allison earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Fashion Marketing from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. She enjoys spending time with her husband Jason and taking walks along the bay with her dogs Oliver and Seth.

Gary Lessing

Director of Food Services


Mr. Lessing oversees the dining services team to provide a variety of dining selections that promote healthy living for seniors including a Mediterranean- style menu with heart healthy meals, plant based options, and other special dietary accommodations.

With over 15 years of experience in culinary, hospitality and healthcare sectors, he has a proven track record implementing high-quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, and staff engagement. He’s known for cooking with seasonal ingredients, infusing foods with fresh herbs, making soups with homemade stock and delighting residents with a culturally diverse menu.

Lessing attended Paul Smiths College and studied hospitality management and culinary arts.

Celerino Yumang headshot

Celerino Yumang

Director of Maintenance


Mr. Yumang supervises, schedules, and directs the maintenance and housekeeping teams. His duties include establishing and executing a preventive maintenance program; developing and recommending policies and procedures for proper maintenance of the buildings, grounds and equipment; and coordinating staff work assignments. He is responsible for maintaining adequate and accurate inspection records in compliance with the Department of Health and Senior Services.

Mr. Yumang has spent over 25 years in various service and technical related positions including Director of Building Maintenance, and Director of Environmental Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology in Manila, Philippines.

Robin Doherty

LivWell Activity Director


Robin is responsible for implementing and directing Springpoint’s award-winning LivWell program focused on whole-person wellness, catering to each of the seven dimensions with a deep understanding of physical, intellectual, emotional, social, environment, spiritual and vocational needs. She conducts all resident LivWell programs, activities, and events for the community.

Robin began her journey with Springpoint in 2017 as an Activities Assistant at Monroe Village, a Springpoint Life Plan Community. In 2019, she joined Springpoint’s Stonebridge at Montgomery team as Activities Coordinator, and was promoted to LivWell Manager in 2020. She exudes enthusiasm and has a passion for helping others especially seniors.

Deborah-Cottrell

Deborah Cottrell

Business Office Manager


In this role, Debra is responsible for the day to day operations of the administrative office and directly supervises all concierge staff. She is responsible for the administration office support staff including hiring, maintaining associate and resident files, reviewing performance, supervising and processing payroll. She ensures accuracy of resident census data and handles resident billing correspondence, manages accounting and record keeping functions. Debra holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from The College of New Jersey, and is an active volunteer for multiple charitable organizations.

Sharon Woznick LPN, CDP

Memory Care Director/Infection Preventionist


Sharon oversees the clinical aspect of the memory care neighborhood at the community. She is responsible for the community infection prevention and control program (IPCP), directing a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment to help prevent the development and transmission of communicable diseases and infections.

With a special focus in geriatrics, Sharon attended Jersey College School of Nursing; she is a certified dementia practitioner and has over 20 years of healthcare experience.
